SCM at the UU General Assembly
When great leaders arise in our midst, exemplars of service and ministry, the Society for Community Ministries recognizes their contributions at the Unitarian Universalist General Assembly. The Community Minister of the Year award is presented to the lay person or ordained minister who provides an exemplary service to the Society and best fulfills its mission. The best sermon delivered by a community minister is awarded the Sermon Award during the GA worship service. On one occasion, a community minister was awarded the Joseph Tuckerman Inspirational Leadership Award.
