Becoming a Member of the SCM
SCM is a professional membership organization and as such it is dependent on its members to financially sustain it through membership dues and contributions. Dues payments are due between April 1st - June 30th of each year, for the following fiscal year. If you pay your dues prior to SCM's Annual Meeting (usually at the UU General Assembly), then you have the advantage of paying dues at the current rate as opposed to an increased rate that SCM members may vote for at the Annual Meeting.
Members of the Society for Community Ministries include ordained clergy (Community, Parish & Religious Education), laity, and seminary students, and all who support our vision. To become a member of the SCM you must agree to follow the by-laws of the SCM, comply with the Code of Professional Practice, and pay annual dues.
Regular $75.00
Hardship $37.50
Student $22.50
To join, first print out a copy of the Application Form. To RENEW your membership, first please complete this Membership RENEWAL form, and then pay dues as listed. To qualify for student or hardship dues, please print out and send the completed waiver along with the application form to: UUSCM, PO Box 262 Wayland MA 01778. (At present, the application and waiver forms must be completed longhand; during the next web upgrade that feature will be automated.) Then, pay your fees below using PayPal. Click the Donate button beside the membership level for which you are applying. That will lead you to the PayPal site. (Use your browser's "back" button to return to this page.)
